MS Walk Volunteer: Multiple Sclerosis is in need of individuals, families, and small groups (2-6) to help with the MS walk April 27th. Volunteers will help with serving beverages, cheering on the walkers, and checking in volunteers. We will need a total of 12-15 volunteers. Volunteers will need to be at the Scheels Arena at 7:30am until 1pm.
Coffee/Gift Shop Volunteer: Eventide Sheyenne Crossing is in need of individuals or older adults to serve coffee and food items, to ring up sales, re-stock gift items, and visit with residents. Weekday afternoons from 1:30-4:30pm or fill in as needed.
Fargo-Moorhead Walk to Defeat ALS Fundraising Committee: The ALS Association MN/ND/SD Chapter is looking for individuals and older adults to be committee members and assist with securing event sponsors, in-kind donations of food, entertainment and publicity. The planning committee meets one hour monthly during a weekday lunch hour. April through September.
Volunteer Driver: REACH is in need of individuals or older adults to drive clients to medical appointments and other agencies as approved. On call: the program runs from 8:00am until 2:30pm. Most of the clients live in Clay County.
Oral History Documenter: Bonanzaville is in need of an individual or small group to help record the stories of people with important connections to the historic buildings and artifacts that might otherwise be lost in time. A volunteer (or small group) is needed to interview and record them with a voice recorder and video camera. These recordings will be used in the village to make the displays more interactive. The schedule and time commitment will be based on the individual’s availability, and Bonanzaville has all needed equipment.
